These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<br><br>Prescription Verification: Ensure prescriptions are accurate and meet all regulatory and clinical requirements.<br><br>Drug Utilization Review (DUR): Conduct thorough reviews to identify any potential drug interactions, contraindications, or other clinical concerns.<br><br>Billing Rejection Processing: Address and resolve prescription billing issues by processing and correcting rejections in a timely manner. The Pharmacy Services team operates across multiple locations nationwide, and effective communication and collaboration are key components of success.<br><br><strong>Shifts Available<br><br></strong>W-Sat 12PM-10:30PM<br><br>Sun-W 12PM-10:30PM<br><br>#everydaybetter<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br><ul><li>Accurately verify and validate prescriptions, ensuring safety and compliance.</li><li>Conduct comprehensive DUR to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.</li><li>Process billing rejections and resolve any discrepancies with insurance or payers.</li><li>Maintain a high level of efficiency while meeting performance and quality standards.</li><li>Collaborate with other pharmacy staff and healthcare providers to ensure best patient care.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Basic Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree</li><li> Active and unrestricted Pharmacy License in state of employment (additional licenses may be required)</li><li> Proficiency with basic computer functions and pharmacy systems</li><li> Exemplary interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Understanding of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulations</li><li> Ability to manage high call volume while maintaining quality customer service<br><br></li></ul>Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.<br><br>Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. The base pay for this position ranges from $93,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $161,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
