<p><span><strong>RESPONSIBILIITES: </strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Perform data management, process uplifts and strategic reporting initiatives for the US Residential Mortgage Trading Business in the US-based Data Analytics (DA) Team</span></li> <li><span>Partner with teammates in the Bangalore-based DA team on projects and strategic work</span></li> <li><span>Apply quality control, data validation, and data cleansing processes to new and existing data sources</span></li> <li><span>Identify and remove redundancies, reduce manual interventions and improve process efficiency effectiveness through automation, using various tools</span></li> <li><span>Execute and enhance data quality controls on monthly mortgage data received from loan servicers</span></li> <li><span>Engage with stakeholders and team members across Loan Management to understand, define and implement their reporting and automation requirements </span></li> <li><span>Work closely with global and regional teams to architect, develop, and maintain advanced reporting solutions</span></li> <li><span>Translate business requirements into tangible solution specifications and high quality, on time deliverables</span></li> <li><span>Manage project timelines and completions for committed analytics, automation and reporting deliverables</span></li> <li><span>Coordinate with Engineering and internal departments to understand business requirements and help define and drive enhancements to Engineering systems </span></li> <li><span>Manage data dictionaries and large data stores </span></li> <li><span>Manage and create data related quality control checks for internal databases and provide resolution through analytic research </span></li> <li><span>Fulfill ad hoc data requests</span></li> </ul> <p><span> </span></p> <p><span><strong>SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: </strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability </span></li> <li><span>Strong communication skills (clear, concise, and confident) with the ability to manage internal and external relationships. </span></li> <li><span>Ability to organize and prioritize workload and deal with multiple priorities</span></li> <li><span>Solid analytical/logical mindset and attention to detail </span></li> <li><span>Experience in data analysis, data modeling, structured / relational databases or Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes</span></li> <li><span>Working knowledge of SQL and / or interacting with structured data</span></li> <li><span>Must know or be able to learn Excel to an advanced level</span></li> <li><span>Strong academic background - 4-year engineering, analytics, finance or similar background </span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span><strong>GOOD TO HAVE: </strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Knowledge of Python </span></li> <li><span>Understanding of in industry standard data transformation and reporting tools such as Tableau  and Alteryx, or ability to create/build reports and data visualizations</span></li> <li><span>Expertise in structured data management and governance, including effective</span><span> data transformation processes and efficient data modelling principles</span></li> <li><span>Mortgage banking or other financial industry experience </span></li> <li><span>Understanding of structured finance, collateralized lending, fixed income or related finance modeling concepts</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <p>ABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS</p> <p>At Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow.
