Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process inbound shipments, including inspecting and verifying the accuracy of shipments, and storing packages in designated areas
  • Prepare and ship outbound shipments, including packaging, labeling, and loading shipments onto trucks or other transportation vehicles
  • Maintain a safe and efficient working environment, including cleaning and organizing the warehouse, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures
  • Confirm the accuracy of package counts against signed daily delivery sheets, and investigate any discrepancies or issues
  • Deliver inbound packages to designated personnel, and ensure that all packages are properly labeled and tracked
  • Log and process imaged paperwork for shipment to offsite storage facilities, and ensure that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
  • Stock and store warehouse with equipment and supplies, and ensure that all inventory is properly labeled and tracked
  • Report stock levels to supervisors, and assist with periodic inventory counts and audits
  • Perform light maintenance tasks, including cleaning and repairing equipment, and ensuring that all machinery is in good working order

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with at least one year of related work experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Must meet job-related requirements to comply with D.O.T., F.D.A., and standards of accrediting bodies
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Two or more years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with a strong understanding of inventory management and control
  • Certification in logistics or supply chain management, such as CLTD or CSCP
  • Experience with warehouse management software, including inventory tracking and reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively
