We're seeking an experienced Admissions Advisor to join our remote team as a key member of our Enrollment Management and Student Recruitment department. As an Assistant Director of Admissions, you'll work closely with our Director of Admissions and Recruitment to develop and implement strategies for attracting and enrolling qualified applicants for our programs. As an Admissions Advisor, you'll be responsible for:- Assisting in the hiring and training of Admissions Representatives
- Ensuring compliance with our strict code of conduct and adhering to all relevant regulations
- Managing and motivating Admissions Representatives to achieve their performance goals
- Monitoring and evaluating the performance of Admissions Representatives, including regular performance reviews
- Submitting timely and accurate Admissions reports as requested by management
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with students, staff, and external partners
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:- A Bachelor's degree (preferred) or a combination of education and experience in a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in admissions, recruitment, or a related field, preferably in a leadership or management role
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, and external partners
- Proficiency in computer software and systems, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Exceptional social interaction skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and external partners
- A professional demeanor, attitude, and appearance, with a strong commitment to maintaining a positive and respectful work environment
- Motivation, self-starter attitude, and a willingness to take initiative and lead by example
- Ability to organize and prioritize workflow, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a remote team
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
