Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Associate Director, Strategic Engagement Leader to join our CORE Office team. This strategic role requires a strong and diverse skillset to drive success in directing complex, Raytheon-wide strategic initiatives and achieving business results. As a Strategic Engagement Leader, you'll serve as a strategic CORE resource for cross-SBU and functional business problems, leveraging skills in statistics and data science, lean value and flow, project management, process maturity, problem solving, and change management. Key Responsibilities
- Focusing on strategic initiatives aligned with the CORE Goal Alignment process
- Driving improvement across SBU and functional white space, with a focus on the biggest impact
- Driving EAC savings, program risk reduction/opportunity capture, cost reductions, schedule (cycle time) and quality improvements
- Coaching and mentoring "CORE Experts in training" and guiding them through their certification journey
- Delivering instructor-led training on CORE methods and tools to the organization as needed
- Shepherding these processes in the organization as the organization matures with CORE OS deployment
- Partnering to solve cross-business unit challenges impacting RTX profitability
- Leveraging skills by helping RTX corporate with synergy opportunities, best practice sharing implementation, and high-stakes field failures' Root Cause and Corrective Action
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics or Business and twelve (12) years of experience in the following areas;
- CORE Expert or other equivalent certifications
- Experience influencing stakeholders and working across the organization with proven communication, project management, and change management skills
- Documented experience in one or more of the following;
- Process improvement
- Cost reduction
- EAC improvement
- Business model realignment and/or related efforts
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance within one year is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced skillsets in statistics or industrial engineering
- Experience in the defense industry and knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Proficiency in Data Analytic tools, R, Minitab, Excel/Access/Power BI
- Proficiency in Lean Mixed Model Value Streams
- Experience guiding, training, and coaching Lean and 6Sigma methods & tools
- Deep understanding of cost reduction, EAC improvement, and synergy creation

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $147,000 - $295,000, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays, you'll also have access to:
