Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Strategic Customer Project Management Professional to provide management and oversight of business-class advanced voice, ethernet, and small to medium business project offers from order submission through installation. The successful candidate will have in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in their discipline, with the ability to determine their own work priorities and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Core Responsibilities

The Sr. Strategic Customer Project Management Professional will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and managing critical dates required for on-time completion of network and/or product activations and evaluating the impact of change on the overall installation timeline.
  • Identifying and managing risks, issues, and gaps that could impact timelines, goals, and installation of services, and developing, triggering, and managing mitigation plans for installation of services.
  • Planning agendas for and facilitating required meetings, prioritizing and driving cross-functional activities, and developing and managing communications, summary reports, and status for various audiences.
  • Collaborating with various levels of sales, operations, engineering, and other functional groups to ensure orders flow appropriately and accurately through completion.
  • Reviewing sales contracts and validating services with customers to ensure accuracy of product orders.
  • Providing guidance to other team members on matters of process, procedure, and organizational compliance, and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement in processes and procedures.
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding organizational scorecard, productivity, and quality metrics.
  • Supporting multi-location customers with multiple services at each location by managing the installation of the customer’s services.
  • Serving as primary contact with customers and IT/technical personnel/vendor/reseller.
  • Supporting multiple products within advanced voice and ethernet, including associated small to medium business products during installation of services.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong knowledge of business-class advanced voice, ethernet, and small to medium business solutions.
  • Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Certifications in project management, such as PMP or Agile.
  • Experience working with customers in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of sales contracts and validation processes.
  • Experience with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and engineering.
