**Why You Will Love This Role**
As a member of the Payments and Digital Strategy crew at blithequark, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless transactions and resolving customer inquiries related to payments, digital services, and other financial matters. Your role will involve:
* Completing daily tasks related to account processing, direct deposits, and budget transfers
* Coordinating with various stakeholders, including vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions
* Assisting different departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing
* Working on member cases and projects assigned
* Following and maintaining guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines, as well as Federal Banking laws
* Processing mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other transactions, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff exams
* Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
* Logging, reviewing, and making necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns
* Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching
* Completing daily balancing and department closing
* Obtaining information from members for timely and accurate processing of international and domestic budget transfer requests
* Researching and verifying incoming and outgoing budget transfer information
* Communicating with vendors to facilitate budget transfers
* Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming budget transfer regulations
* Depositing check returns, reviewing member re-exams on draft changes, processing member exams, affirming members for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers
* Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and court fees
**All You Will Need for Success**
To excel in this role, you will need:
* A high school degree or GED
* Intermediate Excel and Word experience
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous customer/member service experience
* Previous banking or Credit Union experience
* Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience
**Skills, Licenses & Certifications**
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through work experience, education, or hands-on use
* Ability to work prolonged hours in support of business needs
* Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills
* Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team
* Ability to perform mathematical calculations and review data
* Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high volume pressure
* Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department
* Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and members
* Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
* Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and capacity for attention to detail
