Staff Pharmacist, Amazon Pharmacy

We are looking for a Pharmacist to join us on our journey to make it drastically easier for customers to find, choose, afford, and engage with the services, products, and professionals they need to get and stay healthy! #everydaybetter • This is NOT a remote or work from home position. You must be licensed in the state of Texas and willing to commute to our facility as needed. Key job responsibilities • Implement/ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations • Maintain compliance with Amazon Pharmacy operational guidelines/procedures • Document professional communications/interactions appropriately • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills • Evaluate prescriptions for clinical appropriateness • Participate in quality assurance activities • Provide clinical guidance/support • Work with other healthcare team members/pharmacy staff • Support interdepartmental communication and workflows BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy License in state of employment (additional licenses may be required) • Proficiency with basic computer functions and pharmacy systems • Exemplary interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Understanding of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulations • Ability to manage high call volume while maintaining quality customer service Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $93,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $161,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
