Localization QA Tester / Proofreader
About the position
Responsibilities
• Proofreading and editing localized content for errors
• Translating content from English to reputed company language
• Checking UIs for functional issues
• Conducting test cases and identifying localization bugs
• Reporting bugs reputed company an internal bug tracking system
• Verifying fixes once implemented
Requirements
• reputed company-level reputed company in their respective language (grammar, vocabulary, composition, punctuation)
• reputed company in English (written and spoken)
• Experience working in translation
• Tech savvy, with experience testing web-based systems and applications on Mac OS X and iOS
• Ability to prioritize linguistic issues and distinguish between a true must-fix and a reputed company-to-have
• Experience working with test cases and test scripts
• Experience with bug tracking systems
• Ability to reputed company reputed company reproduction steps for a given issue
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of reputed company
• Ability to work with a reputed company diverse team
• Flexibility to work during non-business hours, weekends, and national/federal holidays
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
