Job Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Home Infusion Nurse. In this full-time role, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in the comfort of their own homes, providing a range of infusion treatments and educating them on their care. Key Responsibilities • Provide a range of infusion treatments to patients in their homes, including but not limited to: antibiotic therapy, hydration therapy, and pain management • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs • Educate patients and their families on their care and treatment, including medication management and infusion therapy • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care • Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams • Participate in on-call rotations as needed, including weekends and holidays • Travel to patient homes within a designated geographic area, with paid travel time and mileage reimbursement Essential Qualifications • Current, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida • Minimum of one year of nursing experience, with IV-related experience preferred • Current CPR certification • Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word • Ability to participate in on-call rotations as needed Preferred Qualifications • Minimum of three years of nursing experience, with high-tech IV infusion experience preferred • Pediatric care experience highly preferred • Home healthcare experience • CRNI certification Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: • Strong clinical nursing skills, with the ability to assess patients and develop individualized care plans • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, with a flexible and positive attitude Career Growth and Learning Opportunities • Comprehensive orientation and onboarding program • Ongoing training and education on infusion therapy and related topics • Opportunities for professional certification, including CRNI certification • Career advancement opportunities, including leadership and management roles Work Environment and Company Culture Aetna is a dynamic and supportive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
