About the Role and Its Impact

This position offers an exceptional opportunity to increase accessibility to therapy for clients who require sessions outside of traditional work and school hours. By working evenings and weekends, you will be able to reach a broader range of clients, including those with non-traditional schedules, and provide them with the support and care they need to thrive. As a remote therapist, you will have the flexibility to work from home and collaborate with our dynamic team to further our mission and expand our reach in the community.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, implement, and maintain treatment plans, and complete ongoing documentation to ensure the highest quality of care for our clients.
  • Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy in an outpatient clinic setting, utilizing evidence-based practices and innovative interventions to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Actively participate in building, growing, and maintaining a caseload to meet agreed-upon weekly billable expectations, with full-time therapists expected to work 25 hours per week and part-time therapists working 10-24 hours per week.
  • Provide excellent customer service for clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and compassionate manner, and collaborate with our team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed their goals, and stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field through ongoing education and training.
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement, and sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues to enhance our collective impact.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Masters degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university, with a strong foundation in clinical theory and practice.
  • Clinical licensure or be on licensure track for LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP, or other relevant licensures, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and licensure maintenance.
  • Experience with completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and timely records.
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients, maintaining a professional and empathetic demeanor in all interactions.
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 and EHR systems (Valant), including collection of co-payments, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.

  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and innovative interventions, with a commitment to staying current with the latest research and developments in the field.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of self-motivation and direction.
  • Experience with telehealth care, with a willingness to adapt to new technologies and platforms as needed.
