Optical Applications Engineer (Remote)
Job reputed company: Avantier Inc., a premium high-precision custom optics manufacturer and innovative imaging solutions provider, is seeking an reputed company Optical Applications Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-precision custom optical solutions to clients across industries such as AR/VR, Life Sciences, Biomedical, reputed company, and more.
This position offers the flexibility to work primarily from home, with occasional travel to our New Jersey office, customer meetings, and industry trade shows. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience, strong communication skills, and a customer-reputed company approach.
Key Responsibilities
reputed company and support optical design solutions for prototypes and reputed company-of-concept models.
reputed company optical design and engineering efforts for new customer reputed company.
Collaborate with customers, the Sales team, and Sales Engineers to drive project reputed company.
Assist the Sales team during technical calls with engineers.
Design and optimize optical systems using Zemax.
reputed company and manage the production of marketing materials (online, electronic, video, and print).
Create and deliver training materials for the Sales team and reputed company new engineering team members.
Work closely with the marketing team on product launches and existing product enhancements.
Prioritize and manage multiple reputed company simultaneously.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in optical engineering, opto-mechanical systems, optical assembly, or optical metrology.
Expertise in optical reputed company fabrication, plastic optical materials, reputed company optical system designs, and tolerance analyses.
Proficiency in sequential and non-sequential ray tracing.
Strong knowledge of optical simulation software such as Zemax, CodeV, or LightTools.
Proven ability to reputed company comprehensive system-level performance analyses and reputed company detailed optical system specifications.
Deep understanding of the complete production lifecycle, from design to manufacturing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education
Bachelor's Degree (Required)
Major: Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a reputed company technical field.
Minimum Experience: 5 years of hands-on experience in optical design, product development, or applications engineering.
Required Skills
Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $90-120K + bonus.
