We're guided by our values of Impact, Growth, and a Culture of Care, and we're dedicated to fostering an inclusive workforce that reflects the diversity of the customers and communities we serve. **Job Description** As our Full Stack Business Assurance Leader for Financial Crimes Management, you'll play a critical role in leading the development and implementation of the assurance framework that oversees and strengthens controls related to financial crimes. You'll provide strategic leadership in ensuring that our organization's policies, processes, and systems comply with regulatory requirements, internal standards, and risk mitigation practices. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork, and handling any disciplinary actions as required. * Lead 1LOD Financial Crimes Management's efforts to resolve Regulatory findings or new rules/directives, including leading our efforts to resolve any AML-related MRAs. * Develop and maintain standards and procedures in alignment with legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements. * Implement and execute controls to mitigate risk generated in Financial Crimes Management processes. * Coach and lead a team of operational control and process design experts. * Partner with 1B, 2LOD, and Audit teams to ensure that Remediation-related change activities are delivered and executed within required timelines. * Work across AMCB to share insights on regulatory remediation solutions while also seeking out perspective from other LOBs (e.g., Commercial and Shared Services). * Confirm first-line-of-defense testing is performed to demonstrate enhancements are working. * Proactively ensure exam and other testing readiness by FCM to improve self-ID rate and successful audits and exams. * Develop and maintain FCM materials for quarterly updates to regulators. * Develop action plans in coordination with 1B. * Coordinate FCM actions in response to partner findings related to 1LOD Financial Crimes Management. **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA, JD) is preferred. * 10+ years of experience in financial crimes management, risk management, or compliance within the financial services industry. * Proven experience in managing and leading teams in a regulatory and risk-focused environment. * In-depth knowledge of AML regulations, fraud detection, and prevention frameworks. * Strong analytical skills and experience working with data and technology-driven solutions for risk management. * Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. **Preferred Qualifications** * Certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) are a plus. **Skills and Competencies** * Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of experts. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects. * Strong knowledge of financial crimes management, risk management, and compliance regulations. * Ability to develop and maintain standards and procedures in alignment with legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At TD, we're committed to providing our colleagues with the support and resources they need to succeed in their careers.
