We're seeking an experienced Dance Instructor to join our team in Stamford, CT. As a Dance Instructor, you'll have the opportunity to conduct Private and Group Dance Classes, guiding students as they achieve their personal dance goals. You'll work closely with our team to create a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment that fosters growth and development for our students.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Private and Group Dance Classes for students of all ages and levels of ability
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs and goals of our students
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for our students
- Collaborate with our team to create a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment that fosters growth and development for our students
- Participate in studio events, competitions, and performances, both locally and nationally
- Continuously develop and improve your dance skills and knowledge through ongoing training and professional development
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Dance Instructor, preferably in ballroom dance
- Strong knowledge of ballroom dance techniques, including waltz, tango, foxtrot, swing, and more
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with students of all ages and levels of ability
- Physical fitness and endurance to perform the role successfully
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching dance to students of all ages and levels of ability
- Knowledge of dance choreography and performance techniques
- Experience with dance competitions and performances
- Ability to speak multiple languages
