Job Overview

In this full-time, contract position, you will play a vital role in collecting and analyzing data from program participants, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the success of our research initiatives. As a Customer Service Data Representative, you will work remotely from Durham, NC, with flexible scheduling available between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize internet databases and research systems to locate and identify points of contact for program participants, ensuring accurate and efficient data collection.
  • Perform data entry of case information into our case management system, maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Engage and respond to participants via phone, following a scripted questionnaire to collect research data and communicate the goals of the survey.
  • Persuade stakeholders to participate in the survey, addressing concerns and highlighting the value of their contribution.
  • Attend all mandatory training sessions related to survey data collection, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
  • Maintain quality standards for data collection, ensuring the integrity and reliability of our research findings.

Position Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A quiet, disruption-free workspace with a high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download speed and 3 Mbps upload speed) to ensure seamless communication and data transmission.
  • Access to a personal email account and phone (either landline or cell) for effective communication with participants and team members.
  • Excellent computer skills, with experience navigating multiple programs and systems, including our case management system.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and professionally with diverse stakeholders.
  • Effective time management and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of customer service experience or a related combination of education, training, and experience.
