As a Full Stack Data Analyst, you'll play a critical role in helping us achieve our mission by developing data-driven insights and analytics that inform our learning and development programs. **Job Summary** We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Data Analyst to join our Southwest Airlines University team. As a key member of our analytics team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that help us understand the effectiveness of our learning programs. You'll work closely with our senior leaders to identify business needs and develop actionable insights that drive business growth. If you're a self-starter with a passion for data analysis and a desire to make a real impact, we want to hear from you. **Responsibilities** As a Full Stack Data Analyst at blithequark, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects that will challenge and engage you. Some of your key responsibilities will include: * Developing and maintaining data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using tools like Alteryx, Tableau, and SQL * Analyzing and interpreting large datasets to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions * Collaborating with senior leaders to identify business needs and develop actionable insights that drive business growth * Supporting escalated and complex data troubleshooting for business customers * Gathering and interpreting requirements to convert business needs into actionable data and present findings * Partnering with business intelligence analysts to clarify issues and share expertise of tools and strategies * Identifying strengths and weaknesses of potential solutions, conclusions, or processes to problems * Understanding and estimating the effort and cost of a solution * Working with the business intelligence analyst to clarify issues and share expertise of tools and strategies * May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities** To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess a unique combination of technical, business, and interpersonal skills. Some of the key skills and abilities we're looking for include: * Ability to apply advanced tools to quickly understand and accurately define complex problems to systematically examine and weigh options to advocate solutions * Ability to work under stressful conditions and manage time effectively * Ability to prioritize tasks to meet departmental targets and goals * Be a self-starter and able to work with a minimal amount of supervision to perform assignments and projects * Understanding of Company policies (e.g.: Appearance and Attendance) and expectations of SWA Culture * Ability to work effectively independently or in a strong customer service and/or team environment * Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends, and travel as required * Ability to work under tight time constraints and at times, in stressful conditions * Ability to design and conduct analyses, as well as synthesize recommendations * Ability to develop, present, and effectively communicate techniques and ideas to various audiences **Education** * Required: High School Diploma or GED **Experience** * Advanced level experience, fully functioning extensive expertise in: + Acquiring data using various tools such as: SQL, Python, Alteryx, Qlikm, Attunity, or other comparable toolsets. + Visualization and presentation experience * Preferred: Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Visual Basic) * Preferred: Working experience in Air Operations training and Advance Qualification Program (AQP) **Work Environment and Culture** As a Full Stack Data Analyst at blithequark, you'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that's dedicated to innovation, creativity, and collaboration.
