Job Overview

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring that every interaction is positive, helpful, and memorable. Your key priorities will include greeting customers, assisting them with selecting merchandise, completing transactions, and answering questions regarding the store and merchandise. You will be an integral part of our store team, working together to maintain a clean, well-stocked store environment that exceeds our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring that every customer feels valued and supported.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment, including unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor.
  • Independently stock shelves and recover merchandise in the store, ensuring that all products are accurately priced and displayed.
  • Accurately handle customer funds and process transactions using the POS system, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Remain constantly aware of customer activity, ensuring a safe and secure shopping environment for all customers and employees.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned, including participating in visual merchandising, maintaining store displays, and supporting store operations as needed.

Education

We prefer candidates who have completed high school or equivalent, with the ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned. Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height. You must also be able to meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
