Chapel Coordinator - Secondary

Chapel Coordinator (Remote, Part-Time) Pella Hill Virtual Academy is seeking a Chapel Coordinator to lead engaging, Christ-centered virtual chapel sessions for students in grades 6–12. This remote, part-time role is ideal for a dynamic communicator with a conservative Christian worldview, strong speaking skills, and a heart for connecting with young people online. Position Details • Schedule: Most Fridays, September–May (will be adjusted for the remainder of the current school year) • Time Commitment: Approximately 30 minutes per chapel session, plus preparation time, monthly planning meeting with Pella Hill team, attend annual start of school year kickoff event and end of school year celebration event • Location: Fully remote (reliable high-speed internet and suitable technology required) • Compensation: Annual $3000 stipend, prorated per the number of Chapel sessions remaining for the current school year • Start Date: Friday, November 7, 2025 • See our Statement of Faith (https://www.pellahill.org/pella) Key Responsibilities • Lead a Christ-centered chapel message each week via Zoom for students in grades 6–12, or coordinate guest speakers to do so (Note: compensation remains with the Chapel Coordinator regardless of who speaks.) • Engage students in a dynamic, age-appropriate, and spiritually encouraging way • Collaborate with the Pella Hill team on scheduling, planning, and alignment with school values • Maintain clear communication and basic records of chapel topics and participants • Represent the mission and beliefs of Pella Hill Virtual Academy with consistency and integrity Qualifications • A genuine, mature Christian faith and a conservative Christian worldview • Commitment to upholding the beliefs and values of Pella Hill while serving in a representative role • Excellent public speaking, relational, and virtual presentation skills • Willingness to engage thoughtfully and respectfully in theological conversations when appropriate • Ability to prepare and deliver original chapel messages or organize qualified guest speakers • Strong organizational and communication skills • Must consent to and successfully pass a background check To Apply Please submit the following materials: • Your resume • A cover letter describing your experience with student ministry, teaching, or public speaking • Two references – one character reference and one professional reference related to ministry, teaching, or public speaking Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
