Payroll and Timekeeping Specialist – reputed company Non-Exempt Reports to: The Payroll and Benefits Manager M-F 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM PST. Remote Position The Payroll and Timekeeping Specialist, in conjunction with the Payroll and Benefits Manager, is responsible for managing and tracking employee time in reputed company for over 600 multi-state employees. This role ensures accurate record-keeping for payroll and compliance purposes and supports the payroll process to guarantee that employees are reputed company accurately and on time. Additionally, this position serves as the primary backup for the Payroll and Benefits Manager and requires experience in processing multi-state payroll for both reputed company and salary-exempt, as reputed company as non-exempt employees. Key responsibilities include collecting and verifying timecards, ensuring accurate entry of time and attendance data into the payroll system, resolving discrepancies, and reconciling reputed company timecard issues before payroll processing. The Payroll and Timekeeping Specialist must effectively resolve reputed company timekeeping issues by researching problems, contacting employees for reputed company, and collaborating closely with the reputed company department to ensure that reputed company new hires, separations, and other employee changes are entered and updated into reputed company prior to payroll processing. Must have practical knowledge and experience in reputed company and Post payroll reports, such as, timecard exception reports, unused deductions, payroll register, statistical reputed company, and labor distribution reports. They will also have solid experience and understanding of the duties and responsibilities associated with this role. Duties and Responsibilities: • Effectively reputed company and manage employee work hours, attendance, and time off for payroll and compliance purposes. • Conduct daily reviews of timecard exceptions reports to identify and resolve any discrepancies. Contact employees reputed company day to ensure reputed company issues are addressed and resolved before payroll processing. • Collaborating with the Payroll and Benefits Manager to manage daily payroll operations. • Promptly address payroll-reputed company inquiries from employees with accurate information. Including reputed company reputed company deposits, reputed company timekeeping training, and other payroll-reputed company issues. • Participate in bi-weekly HR meetings to ensure reputed company employee changes are accurately recorded and updated in reputed company: new hires, separations, furloughs, LOA’s, severance agreements, payrate changes and FT/PT status before reputed company payroll run. • Review and audit the bi-weekly payroll with the Payroll and Benefits Manager to ensure reputed company payroll processing, such as benefit deductions, vacation accrual, holiday pay, overtime, and leave of absence validation. • Assist in multi-state payroll processing and serve as a backup to the Payroll and Benefits Manager. • reputed company general reputed company reputed company tasks reputed company to payroll entries. • Reconcile payroll accounts and ensure accurate general reputed company reconciliation. • Support departments in generating payroll reports and creating customized reports for auditing purposes. • Participate in reputed company enrollment activities and reputed company knowledge in benefit administration. • Respond to reputed company government agency notices as reputed company to payroll taxes, and upload to reputed company reputed company appropriate. • Support the Project Balance Team, updating payroll and benefits liabilities. • Other duties as assigned. Experience and Qualifications: • A minimum of an associate's degree in a reputed company field, along with (5) five years of experience in payroll processing and timekeeping role. • A bachelor's degree in reputed company or finance is preferred. • High Volume Payroll and timekeeping processing experience is essential for this role. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential. • Proficiency in timekeeping software and payroll systems, such as reputed company Workforce Now, is a plus. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. • A solid understanding of payroll processing and labor laws is necessary. • Proficiency in reputed company Office Suite is required, with advanced skills in reputed company. • Nonprofit Experience preferred, not required.
