Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business needs and design modified solutions that align with our goals
  • Utilize your broad experience to design systems that incorporate video conferencing, digital signage, room acoustics, lighting, and more
  • Implement automation protocols and structures to create consistent user experiences and efficient system operation
  • Lead the installation and integration of systems, ensuring proper equipment setup, cabling, and configuration for optimal performance
  • Design and align sound and video equipment, including cameras, microphones, displays, and speakers, to deliver exceptional quality
  • Develop and implement automation scripts and routines to streamline system startup, shutdown, and operation
  • Integrate system controls with building automation systems and central management platforms, enhancing energy efficiency and user convenience
  • Deploy enterprise-level remote monitoring and management tools to direct the health, performance, and status of systems across multiple office locations
  • Provide real-time troubleshooting and proactive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime and continuous user experiences
  • Lead comprehensive testing of systems to validate their functionality, performance, and interoperability
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any issues and ensure optimal system performance
  • Train end-users on operating systems and automation features, facilitating user adoption and proficiency
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including system diagrams, user guides, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, automation structures, and remote monitoring tools, integrating significant advancements into your work

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and installing complex systems for office environments
  • Demonstrated expertise in automation scripting and structures, such as Crestron, AMX, or Extron
  • Extensive knowledge of video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams), codecs, and protocols
  • Experience with remote monitoring and management tools (e.g., Domotz, OvrC, Crestron Fusion, Utelogy, Ninja)
  • Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and end-users
  • Industry certifications like CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I are a plus
  • Ability to adapt to changing technology landscapes and quickly acquire new skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related area, and 1 year of relevant experience in infrastructure engineering across domains such as compute, storage, network, mobility, or virtualization-related technologies
  • Experience with configuration management, developing automation for provisioning and deployment, and creating and managing service-level objectives (SLOs)/service-level indicators (SLIs) for infrastructure administration availability and performance
