This role requires a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas, including program development and evaluation, fiscal management, and personnel supervision. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing all student-centered program operations, with a primary focus on classroom curriculum, teaching, and management. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide management and guidance for the Upward Bound, Fort Bragg program * Supervise staff and student personnel * Plan, organize, and implement all student-centered program operations * Develop and implement classroom curriculum, teaching, and management strategies * Hire, supervise, and evaluate assigned personnel * Assist with budget management and audit compliance * Ensure compliance with all SSU, CSU, and sponsoring agency policies and procedures * Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to achieve program goals and objectives * Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders * Analyze data and evaluate program effectiveness * Develop and implement strategies to improve program outcomes **Essential Qualifications** * Minimum of three years' experience in personnel supervision and evaluation, program development and evaluation, and fiscal management * Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience * Valid CA teaching or pupil personnel services credential highly preferred * Master's Degree in Education or related field preferred * Demonstrated experience working with high school-aged students * Aptitude in management, supervision, strategic planning, project management, and program implementation * Ability to adapt to change in the work environment, effectively handle multiple tasks and competing demands * Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly in both oral and written form * Ability to design and implement formative and summative evaluation strategies * High level of proficiency with computer applications, including Google Suite and Microsoft Office (Excel spreadsheets and MS Word) * Knowledge of Google Suite, Aeries, student information system, and PeopleSoft preferred **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience advising, teaching, and tutoring * Knowledge of learning strategies, academic skill development, and appropriate grade-level assessments * Demonstrated sensitivity and understanding to the needs and characteristics of low-income and potential first-generation college students * Ability to facilitate academic and motivational development for low-income and first-generation college students * Knowledge of the college preparation and placement processes * Ability to be initiative and resourceful * Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously * Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the university and establish and maintain productive and effective working relationships amongst diverse populations **Skills and Competencies** * Strong leadership and management skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively in a team environment * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to adapt to change and prioritize tasks effectively * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Access to training and development programs * Collaborative and supportive work environment * Opportunities for mentorship and coaching * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance * Opportunities for advancement and career progression **Work Environment and Company Culture** * Dynamic and supportive work environment * Collaborative and inclusive team culture * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance * Flexible work arrangements and telecommuting options * Access to state-of-the-art facilities and technology * Opportunities for community engagement and service **Compensation, Perks, and Benefits** * Competitive salary range of $4,500 to $4,800 per month * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance * Retirement plan (CalPERS) * Tuition waiver * Vacation and sick leave * 14 paid holidays per year * Personal holiday * Access to state-of-the-art facilities and technology * Opportunities for professional growth and development **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and results-driven professional with a passion for education and a commitment to student success, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
