You will have the opportunity to develop and teach courses that align with your interests and expertise, and you will work closely with our team to ensure that our students receive a high-quality education. **Key Responsibilities** * Teach undergraduate courses in Global Studies, including Human Rights, Global Political Economy, and Conflict, War, and Peace * Develop and teach courses that align with your interests and expertise * Work closely with our team to ensure that our students receive a high-quality education * Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in online education * Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new courses and programs * Evaluate student learning and provide feedback to students * Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives **Essential Qualifications** * Master's degree in Global Studies, International Relations, or International Studies * Master's degree in Sociology or Political Science with at least nine hours of coursework in international or global topics, including specific coursework related to conflict and war, human rights, and/or global economics * Higher education teaching experience and interest in developing courses * Ability to teach online and work independently * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities **Preferred Qualifications** * Ph.D. in Global Studies, International Relations, or International Studies * Experience teaching online and developing online courses * Familiarity with learning management systems and online educational technologies * Experience working with diverse student populations and developing inclusive teaching practices * Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to departmental goals and objectives **Skills and Competencies** * Strong teaching and communication skills * Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to departmental goals and objectives **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As an Online Adjunct Instructor - Global Studies, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
