Director- SAP Techno Functional Sourcing and Supply Chain

About the position Responsibilities • Collaborate with stakeholders across Device Supply Chain, Supply Chain Planning, Finance, and Sourcing. • Create solutions that optimize Sourcing-Contract Management, Contract Compliance, Order Management, 3PL Integrations, Order Fulfillment, Warehouse Management, and Inventory Management. • Focus on business processes, enabling the roadmap and backlogs around key mission objectives. • Manage cross-CIO priorities and deliver features from concept to launch through agile delivery methodologies. • Ensure value realization and provide governance and support for outstanding business results and user experience. • Lead a large team of Verizon Technical Product Owners and 3rd party partners. • Design how systems, processes, and data can work together to deliver outcomes or solutions. • Standardize Source to Contract processes. • Identify and drive strategy for implementation of new systems and applications. • Drive strategy for upgrades and enhancements to existing applications (SAP, Oracle, etc.). • Coordinate support for systems initiatives driven by other groups. • Develop/assist with project plans, including estimates, work breakdown structure, and schedules. • Identify key project milestones and ensure all deliverables are achieved. • Lead Solution Integration for Device Supply Chain initiatives. • Oversee and manage all ERP priorities and projects across Verizon. • Identify and resolve project constraints, issues, and risks. • Monitor adherence to scope and manage scope change process. • Establish and administer project control procedures. • Maintain project budgets, manage financials, and own vendor relationships. • Conduct regular status meetings to monitor project progress. • Analyze and implement corrective actions when progress deviates from plan. • Monitor quality assurance, deliverable acceptance, and sign-off processes. • Monitor and mitigate project risk. • Maintain continuous communications with the program management office. • Motivate and manage the project team using effective communication and leadership. • Identify and organize required external support (Verizon & Third Party). • Understand/Define Business Processes and integrated hand offs/dependencies. • Partner effectively with the business and IT for successful implementations. • Oversee Organizational Change Management. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. • Ten or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training. • Experience with large ERP platform, Program/project management on ERP implementations with large and diverse teams. • Experience managing ERP Supply chain, contracting and Sourcing applications. • Experience managing resources in the Global delivery model and providing development and operational support. Nice-to-haves • Experience with SAP Ariba or another large ERP platform. • Program/project manager on several SAP implementations with large and diverse teams. • Experience managing large, dynamic teams in a fast-paced environment. • Strong customer focus and ability to recognize impact of decisions on end users. • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to interact with team members and external customers. • Strong presentation skills to all levels of management; ability to communicate complex concepts in a manner that is understood by the audience.
