We're looking for individuals who share our values and are eager to contribute to our mission. **The Role** As a Maintenance Technician III, you'll play a critical role in leading our team of service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You'll work closely with our Operations Maintenance team to design solutions for complex problems and manage projects from start to finish. Your expertise will be essential in training and mentoring service and contract technicians, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles. **Key Responsibilities** * Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures and protocols * Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems in the building, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency * Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness * Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, and other equipment * Create and close out work orders with accurate data, including labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used * Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all Operations facilities * Develop training plans for service technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge * Develop work plans for emergency repair of critical assets, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and improve overall operations **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent * 1 year of experience in PC competency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook * Ability to work flexible schedules, shifts, and areas, including weekends, nights, and holidays * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders **Preferred Qualifications** * Associate's or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in Mechanical or Electrical engineering * 5+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls * 5+ years of experience with electrical and electronic principles, National Electrical Code (NEC), and industrial electronics * 5+ years of experience conducting preventative maintenance, including routine inspections and repairs * 5+ years of experience reading blueprints and schematics, with the ability to interpret complex diagrams and drawings * 5+ years of experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs, including programming and troubleshooting * 3+ years of work order management experience, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency * 4+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Electrical engineering * Previous leadership experience, with a focus on team management and development * Previous vendor management experience, with a focus on contract negotiation and relationship-building * Experience with robotic maintenance, including programming and troubleshooting * Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards, including compliance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards * Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including data entry and reporting **Skills and Competencies** * Strong technical skills, with a focus on automation and controls * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency * Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and improve overall operations * Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a focus on flexibility and adaptability **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At JLL, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills and knowledge.
