As an Experienced Full Stack Inventory Defects Manager, you will play a critical role in leading our Merchandise Accounting team in researching inventory defects, determining systemic and operational root causes, and partnering with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Full Stack Inventory Defects Manager, you will be responsible for: * 10% Collaboration: Leverage your prior experiences to develop and recommend solutions, effectively develop trust and collaboration with internal customers and cross-functional teams, and collaborate with team members to gather input and feedback concerning business needs. * 10% Continuous Improvements & Controls: Participate in the continuous improvement of processes by developing scalable and innovative solutions, maintain internal controls, and drive the team through required compliance. * 40% Operational Duties & Oversight: Monitor the team's progress against departmental goals, monitor team's daily activities, and have a close track of SLAs. Plan and execute month-end/year-end processes, lead regular team calls to address operational topics, improvements, and projects that require monitoring and resolution. * 30% People Management & Team Leadership: Provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to direct reports (individual contributors), provide guidance on a daily basis, keep connected and communicate with the team, and provide performance reviews and timely feedback to direct reports regarding performance, execution, and contribution. * 10% Strategy & Business Development: Manage transformational projects from planning to execution and post-action review, share insight and ideas on how to continue to evolve processes and increase efficiency, drive adoption of leading-edge techniques and methods, and allow team members to develop new skills.

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

* This Position typically reports to Sr Manager * This Position has around 4 Direct Reports

Travel Requirements:

* Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

* Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position, and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:

* Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Must be eighteen years of age or older * Must be legally permitted to work in the United States * Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous people or project team management experience * Thorough understanding of accounting and/or finance principles and practices, statistical methodology, generally accepted accounting principles, and generally accepted auditing standards * Ability to work independently and complete work on schedule within a fast-paced environment * Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills * Ability to prepare and present clear, concise administrative and financial reports

Minimum Education:

* The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a master's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Minimum Years of Work Experience:

* 5

Certifications:

* Certified Public Accountant designation preferred
