Home Delivery Pharmacy Technician - Remote in IL or IA
About the position
Responsibilities
• Process prescription requests and manage customer orders for home delivery.
• Assist with operations support, training, and process improvements.
• Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team content.
• Create and route pharmacy orders through receipt.
• Handle inbound and outbound member/patient calls effectively.
• Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data, and submit prescription orders in the computer system.
• Contact members/patients/providers to validate data and request payment information.
• Identify solutions to non-standard requests and solve moderately complex problems independently.
• Plan, prioritize, organize, and complete work to meet established objectives.
• Provide a holistic approach to case management for assigned customers.
Requirements
• Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (ExCPT or PTCB) or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• 1+ years of experience working in a retail pharmacy.
• Must reside in Illinois or Iowa.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
Nice-to-haves
• Previous health care experience.
• Call-center or telephonic work experience.
