About the Role

We're seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Merchandiser to join our team on a flexible schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Travel to each store location every other week to maintain greeting card rack displays for a larger grocer with locations in Jamestown, NY, and Wellsville, NY.
• Merchandise Avanti greeting card racks, ensuring they are visually appealing and meet the company's standards.
• Rotate products from the backroom stock and out to the department, maintaining a well-organized and efficient display.
• Set up and take down seasonal cards using plan-o-grams, adhering to the company's guidelines and standards.
• Utilize mobile technology to perform required job functions during each store visit, including taking photos of completed displays and completing quick surveys.
• Develop strong relationships with retail customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following traits:

• Merchandising experience, preferably in the gift industry.
• Reliability and a willingness to visit stores once every other week.
• The ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read and understand English.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• The use of small manual and powered hand tools.
• Strong time management and productivity skills, with the ability to maintain a quick work pace.
