Become a Key Player as a Cyber Fraud Investigations Analyst
As a Cyber Fraud Investigations Analyst, you will protect Adobe’s ecosystem by investigating complex fraud and abuse, transforming raw data into actionable intelligence, and strengthening detection across Global Payments and Billings. You’ll partner closely with Data Analytics, Data Engineering, and cross-functional internal teams—and engage external industry partners—to disrupt adversarial attack vectors and close vulnerabilities.
Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact on the Team
Investigate, analyze, and report fraud/abuse targeting Adobe’s ecosystem.
Synthesize data tables into actionable intelligence for casework and prevention.
Identify fraud-driving signals and incorporate them into machine learning models to streamline end-to-end mitigation.
Provide datasets for secondary review to uncover additional fraud patterns and enhance ML and AI initiatives.
Use traditional (covert/overt) and technical (SQL) techniques in intelligence gathering.
Produce investigative reports consolidating multi-platform data for stakeholder decision-making and case resolution.
Research cases of varying complexity, vectors, and scope.
Collaborate with Data Analytics and Data Engineering to detect, scale, and monitor fraud via indicators and visualizations.
Establish protocols for investigative practices, fraud detection, and actioning.
Analyze and verify escalations of suspected fraud from internal and external teams.
Apply reverse engineering to disrupt adversarial attack vectors.
Discover exploited or potential vulnerabilities and recommend solutions with internal partners.
Leverage internal and external fraud tools and platforms to improve detection and actioning strategies.
Engage external groups and industry partners to combat fraud and abuse.
Identify and vet new data sources to perform pattern/trend analysis and enhance detection.
Investigate e-commerce transactions to spot anomalies and refine fraud risk rules/assessments for prevention effectiveness.
Here’s What You’ll Need to Be Successful in This Role
Experience in Fraud Operations or Investigations (required).
Experience in commerce/transaction review for anomalous pattern identification and remediation (e.g., risk rule adjustments).
Basic ability to execute investigation-style SQL queries (including inner/left joins).
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present findings and recommendations to varied stakeholders.
Adaptability and prioritization in a fast-paced environment; proactive, self-sufficient, and self-motivated.
Strong attention to detail; inquisitive, investigative mindset; analytical problem-solving.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively; capable of effective remote work.
Education: Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience (Fraud Detection, Investigations/Analytics, Financial Analysis, Cybersecurity, Criminal Justice, Digital Forensics, or related); or High School Diploma/equivalent and 6+ years of relevant experience.
Pay Range
$39.31 - $49.14/hour
