Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Call Center Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for handling high-volume customer requests, performing data entry tasks, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients and clients. This is a full-time remote opportunity, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences and has a strong background in data entry and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize blithequark's prescription data entry methodology and rules to process new patient enrollments and enter data into our system.
  • Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
  • Investigate and resolve missing prescription data, and interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes).
  • Resolve data entry-related exceptions and communicate with patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Provide assistance to pharmacists, both in the office and in other locations, and escalate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate.
  • Obtain a valid professional license or certification within the first 90 days of employment and maintain an active professional license or certification.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basic level computer skills, including starting and shutting down a computer, using a mouse, and accessing information online.
  • Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing URLs, using a search engine, and completing online forms.
  • Intermediate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, and organizing documents).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
  • At least 1-2 years as a pharmacy technician with a certification/registration by the state as granted by the State Board for Pharmacies or a nationally recognized certification agency.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction.
  • Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, and organizing documents).
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
