About the Team

Our Sensing Structures group is a dynamic and collaborative team that's responsible for designing and developing the sensing technologies that power Apple's products. We're a team of experts who are passionate about creating innovative solutions that enable our products to engage with users and the environment in ways that were previously unimaginable. We're looking for someone who shares our passion for innovation and has the skills and experience to help us take our sensing technologies to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

As an Analog Circuit Design Engineer on our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, including: * System-level prototyping, integration, characterization, and validation of sensing technologies * Failure mode evaluation, root cause diagnosis, and system-level troubleshooting * Schematic design of boards and flexible assemblies * Future technology scoping and proof-of-concept investigations * Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Mechanical Engineering, Firmware Engineering, and System Engineering, to deliver effective sensing solutions * Presenting to government control on key features and challenges * Contributing technical expertise to strategic decision-making related to technology and investments

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have: * At least 2 years of relevant industry experience * Strong electrical engineering background in analog and mixed-signal system-level circuit design * Extensive experience in MATLAB, SPICE, or similar simulation and modeling tools * Sensor and systems integration experience (desired) * Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong teamwork and management skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus: * Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field * Experience with board-level design and layout * Familiarity with Apple's products and technologies * Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
