Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Remote Medical Data Entry Specialist to join our nationwide revenue cycle operations team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in processing medical data, ensuring accuracy, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. Key Responsibilities
- Process medical data through CMS portals, reviewing cases for eligibility and accuracy
- Prepare, enter, track, document, and file medical data with a high degree of quality customer service and compliance with regulatory and company standards
- Respond promptly to client inquiries via email, addressing questions, report status, concerns, or general requests for information
- Utilize appropriate systems and databases to enter client or examine information and retrieve information as needed
- Pull medical records from clients' external sites and upload them into our internal database
- Ensure all medical records are complete and accurately filled out, preparing them for review by our medical experts
Hours and Work Environment
This is a fully remote position, requiring a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace. You'll work Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm CST, with a flexible schedule that allows you to balance your work and personal life.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- At least 1 year of experience in data entry, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting
- 1+ year of patient access experience, with a strong understanding of medical records and data management
- Reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace
- A high school diploma or equivalent
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and medical billing software
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $15.00-$15.00 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you'll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including:
