Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse | Knoxville, Tennessee

Candidates must demonstrate strong skills in telemetry nursing, with a proficiency in EKG interpretation and patient monitoring.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
• Registered Nurse (RN) with telemetry experience
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with Cerner EMR and Omnicell medication system
• Ability to work in team nursing models with ratios possibly exceeding 7 patients per nurse
• Flexibility to float between units as needed

Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care to assigned patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes
• Administer medications and treatments safely using Omnicell systems
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to support patient outcomes
• Adhere to patient care protocols while maintaining compliance with facility policies
Schedule:
• 5 shifts per week, 16 hours per shift, night shift schedule
• Floating responsibilities required
