Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team as a Front End Pharmacy Technician. As a Pharmacy Technician with blithequark, you will perform order entry tasks, collaborate with other team members in the medication dispensing process, and provide exceptional customer service.

A Day in the Life

As a Front End Pharmacy Technician, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks and responsibilities, including:

  • Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
  • Calculate and/or verify correct dosage based on prescriptions
  • Assist in reviewing narcotic prescriptions to ensure timely processing
  • Provide dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies, drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items flagged by the computer
  • Create and maintain accurate customer records

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Required Qualifications:

  • Certification, licensure, or registration as a pharmacy technician, or as required by state law
  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or working in a call center

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the long-term care industry
  • PTCB National Certification
  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy software

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive pay range of $17.00 - $25.15 per hour, as well as a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
