Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, delivering the highest level of customer service experience consistently
- Manage customer accounts, provide technical support, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Enter application data accurately and efficiently, ensuring seamless processing and minimizing errors
- Respond to online chat inquiries, providing prompt and personalized support to customers
- Interpret and follow defined procedures and policies, adhering to regulated guidelines for communications via all channels
- Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills, flexibility, and adaptability in a rapidly changing environment
- Effectively manage time and tasks, prioritizing multiple responsibilities and meeting deadlines
- Commit to extensive self-study, training, and testing, with a focus on continuous learning and professional development
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age or older
- Have a minimum internet speed of 35 mb/s and a dedicated, private, and secure workspace
- Own a personal laptop or desktop computer for the training period
- Commit to full attendance during the 3-week training period
- Complete a background check and health screening
- Have cable/fiber broadband internet with a hard-wired ethernet connection (note: mobile internet service providers and satellite are not compatible)
In terms of qualifications, we are looking for individuals with:
- Moderate to advanced computer skills and a high level of comfort learning new technology
- High levels of professionalism, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a strong customer service orientation
- Self-motivation, success-driven mindset, and a ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Experience
While not required, the following experiences are highly desirable:
- Previous experience in customer support or technical support role
- Previous experience with group and/or individual health insurance, or the Affordable Care Act
- Previous experience in a call center environment
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Spanish bilingual skills, which are considered a plus
