**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist to join our remote team. As a key member of our customer service department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, resolving customer inquiries and complaints, and driving customer retention. **Responsibilities**
As an Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for:
* Answering customer calls professionally and responding to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and effective manner
* Focusing on customer retention and providing customers with the organization's service standards
* Identifying, escalating priority issues, and reporting to high-level management as necessary
* Routing inbound calls to the appropriate resources and following up on complicated customer calls as required
* Completing call notes and call reports as necessary and updating them in the CRM
* Obtaining and evaluating all relevant data to properly handle and document complaints and inquiries
* Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken
* Performing other duties as assigned by management
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A High School Diploma or equivalent
* Bilingual skills (a plus)
* Some sales and customer service experience
* Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication with proper grammar
* Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel
* Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
* Ability to react effectively and calmly in escalated situations
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Some experience with MS Excel
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role
* Familiarity with CRM software
