As a seasoned IT Infrastructure Engineer, you'll join our Data Innovation Group within the Data Innovation Division, where you'll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure. **Why You'll Love This Role** In this exciting position, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from traditional on-premises infrastructure to cloud-based solutions. You'll be responsible for: * Collaborating with our team of experts to design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with our on-premises systems * Investigating and resolving middleware issues across development, testing, and production environments * Proactively monitoring and maintaining our data center operations, including UPSs, air conditioning, power, and security systems * Fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the team * Staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices, identifying opportunities for improvement and suggesting innovative solutions **What You'll Do** As a key member of our IT Infrastructure team, you'll be responsible for: * Providing in-depth knowledge of server load balancing, WAS clustering, and other application scaling concepts * Investigating and resolving middleware issues across development, testing, and production environments * Proactively monitoring and maintaining our data center operations, including UPSs, air conditioning, power, and security systems * Encouraging a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the team * Staying current with technology trends and best practices, identifying opportunities for improvement and suggesting innovative solutions * Providing guidance and support to junior team members, helping them to develop their skills and expertise * Participating in rotational shifts for on-call support, ensuring that our systems are always available and running smoothly **All You'll Need for Success** To excel in this role, you'll need: * A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field * At least 3 years of experience as an IT infrastructure engineer or manager * A strong understanding of IT business activities, systems requirements, and processes * Proficiency in server organization (Linux and Windows), framework as code (Terraform, Python, Bash, and PowerShell), cloud innovations (Microsoft Azure, AWS, IBM Cloud), DevOps (CI/CD, GitHub, Artifactory, or Jenkins), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry), and server and application monitoring (Dynatrace, LogDNA, and SysDig) * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate complex issues and develop effective solutions * Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams * A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes, with a strong desire to grow and develop your skills and expertise **What You'll Get** As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including: * Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage, as well as virtual doctor visits and flexible spending accounts * Health programs that provide you with the tools, resources, and support you need to be your best self * A 401(k) program, with employer contributions available after one year of service * Additional benefits, including our Employee Assistance Program, pet insurance, and discounts on hotels, cars, travel, and more **Join the blithequark Family** At blithequark, we're committed to creating a workplace that's as diverse and inclusive as our customers and communities.
