Lake Country Baptist Church, of the Southern Baptist denomination, is prayerfully seeking the individual God has chosen to lead our congregation. Lake Country Baptist is located in Eatonton, Georgia, near Lake Sinclair, and has a weekly congregation of 150 +/- committed members and an average weekly Sunday School attendance of 65. Our congregation seeks a pastor who will not only preach, but live God’s word with us. Our congregation is loving, caring and looking for a pastor that we can nurture with love and presence, as we are led to follow God’s plan for our lives, as written in the Holy Bible. We are looking for a strong leader with organizational skills, a heart for missions locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally who can relate to and reach across all age spectrums. The pastor we seek should meet the criteria as outlined in the Bible: Titus 1:6-9. 1 Timothy 3:1-7, and 1 Peter 5:1-4, and other similar passages.
