Agronomy Sales Representative
Responsibilities: Create and recommend specific seed varieties, fertilizer, and crop protection products to targeted accounts with goal of increasing seed/chemical/fertilizer sales, which will include seasonal weekend responsibilities. Work with growers to earn business with time spent making on-farm calls. Work with agronomy staff and farmers to coordinate efficient delivery. Utilize various technology and tools to grow market share. Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, along with maintaining and cleaning of agronomy areas. Provide, promote, and coordinate services including but not limited to soil testing, crop scouting. Assist with agronomy operations including fertilizer assets (filling plant preseason), small grain seed treater, and soybean seed facilities. Assist with grower meetings, plot tours, and field days. Basic Qualifications: Degree in agricultural field preferred. 1 year of agronomy/seed scouting or agriculture experience preferred. Ability to work extended hours in-season.
