Job Overview

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for performing data entry tasks, handling customer inquiries, and providing exceptional support to our patients and prescribers. As a Call Center Representative at blithequark, you will work under direct supervision, adhering to our organization's strategies, policies, and procedures. Your primary goal will be to deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring that all interactions are handled professionally, efficiently, and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize blithequark's solution information section strategies and rules to process new patient enrollments by entering data into the appropriate system.
  • Handle patient medication requests, investigate missing prescription data, and interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes).
  • Resolve data entry-related exceptions and communicate with patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Provide assistance to pharmacists, both in-office and in different locations, and escalate issues to senior-level staff as needed.
  • Acquire a dynamic professional license or certification within the initial 90 days and maintain an active professional license or certification.

Essential Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basic level computer skills, including starting and shutting down a computer, using a mouse, and accessing information online.
  • Basic web search engine skills, including opening a browser, typing in URLs, and navigating using back/forward/stop buttons.
  • Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following preferred qualifications will give you a competitive edge in this role:

  • At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
  • At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with a certificate/registration by the state, as conceded by the State Board for Pharmacy or nationally recognized certification agency.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction.
  • Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
