Job Overview

This is a full-time, remote position with a competitive hourly salary range of $14.50 - $16.00. As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing customer accounts, and offering technical support. Your role will involve inbound and outbound calls, application data entry, and responding to online chat inquiries. You will interpret and follow defined procedures and policies, utilizing creative problem-solving skills and adapting to changing projects and updates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the highest level of customer service experience consistently through inbound and outbound calls and online chat inquiries.
  • Manage customer accounts and provide technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Perform application data entry with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Interpret and follow defined procedures and policies, ensuring compliance with regulated guidelines for communications.
  • Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage time and tasks effectively, prioritizing multitasking and task management.
  • Engage in extensive self-study, training, and testing to maintain and improve knowledge and skills.

Essential Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Have a minimum internet speed of 35 mb/s and a dedicated, private, and secure workspace.
  • Own a personal laptop or desktop computer for the training period.
  • Commit to full attendance during the 3-week training period.
  • Complete a background check and health screening as required.
  • Have cable/fiber broadband internet with a hard-wired ethernet connection (note: mobile internet service providers and satellite internet are not compatible).
  • Possess moderate to advanced computer skills and a high level of comfort learning new technology.
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and comfort working from home.
  • Be self-motivated and success-driven, with a strong desire to learn and grow.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer support or technical support roles.
  • Familiarity with group and/or individual health insurance, or the Affordable Care Act.
  • Experience in a call center environment.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and practices.
  • Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.
