Your expertise will be instrumental in providing brief clinical screenings, risk assessments, and appropriate service linkage for individuals experiencing emotional distress. As a Crisis Specialist, you will be responsible for: * Providing telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments * Answering crisis contacts via the chat/text platform to assess for suicide, safety, and identify appropriate community resources to best meet individual needs * Conducting follow-up calls for individuals who are deemed moderate to high risk for suicide * Meeting the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditation * Actively participating in ongoing supervision, training, and team meetings * Assisting in administrative tasks as needed **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in behavioral science, Psychology, Social Work, or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist * Six months to one year of related crisis experience * Effective communication skills, both written and verbal * High-level customer service skills and professional etiquette * Knowledge and competency in providing service linkage and referrals for programs, services, and other community resources * Knowledge of suicide assessments and crisis intervention * Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working in a crisis hotline or mental health setting * Knowledge of trauma-informed care and its application in crisis intervention * Certification in crisis intervention or a related field **Work Environment and Culture** As a Crisis Specialist at blithequark, you will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration, innovation, and compassion.
