Your primary focus will be on resolving technical issues, maintaining computer systems and peripherals, and ensuring seamless remote access for our virtual private network (VPN) users. **Key Responsibilities** * Resolve and close tickets/work orders supporting end-client workstations and peripherals * Answer client care issues raised from the Helpdesk * Contribute to desktop projects (global installs/renovations) as a project team member * Remotely resolve and resolve demands using remote tools * Investigate and collaborate with other departments to assist with system-related issues * Record client interactions in incident management software, including resource management * Recover data from hard drives or perform data migration * Maintain remote access for virtual private network (VPN) availability as well as remote/broadband network for workstations * Install and configure local and network-based printers * Perform routine maintenance and support tasks * Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required * Follow management direction, complying with IT strategy and procedures * Perform other duties as assigned **What You'll Need for Success** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience and training * 2 years of hands-on IT work experience supporting and resolving various PC desktop software and hardware issues * First-hand experience supporting workstations in a Windows/TCPIP environment * Preferred Qualifications: + A+ certification + MCSE/MCP certification or higher + Past IT experience in an aircraft/airport environment * Essential Skills and Competencies: + General knowledge of all Windows-based operating systems, including Windows 10 + Familiarity with workflow and tagging systems + Knowledge of VPN networks and ability to troubleshoot issues + Ability to work independently and act in a collaborative, team-based environment + Physical ability to lift at least 50 pounds **What You'll Get** As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including: * Medical, dental, vision, and prescription benefits, effective on your first day * Health programs that provide you with the tools, resources, and support you need to be your best self * 401(k) program, available upon hire, with employer contributions to your 401(k) program available after one year * Additional benefits, including our Employee Assistance Program, pet insurance, and discounts on hotels, vehicles, travel, and more **Join the blithequark Family** At blithequark, we're committed to creating a workplace that's inclusive, diverse, and empowering.
