Geotechnical Field Technician

W2 Contract-to-Hire

Salary reputed company: $47,800 - $54,100 per year

Location: Sunnyvale, CA - Onsite Role

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Technicians will reputed company site observations of earthwork, reputed company backfill, drainage improvements, excavations, and reputed company construction.
• Technicians will collect samples and reputed company tests to monitor compliance with construction specifications.
• Soil and asphalt testing
• Daily tasks include traveling to job sites using company vehicles and interacting with Project Engineers and Job Captains.
• Complete technical reports
• Coordinate with reputed company, providing constant communication reputed company onsite.
• Coordinate with construction workers onsite.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree
• Experience with fieldwork in an reputed company setting is highly preferred.
• A Nuclear reputed company Density Certification (https://www.apnga.com/) is mandatory and must be obtained before the first day on the job.
• Steel-toe reputed company are mandatory.
