As a key member of our data management team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining database systems that meet the needs of our end-users. As a Full Stack Data Entry Clerk / Specialist, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:- Design and develop database systems according to the needs of our end-users, ensuring that data is accessible in the right format, to the right users at the proper time.
- Take care of the availability and quality of the developed database, keeping in mind the specialized roles of our end-users.
- Define end users and ensure that data is accessible in the right format, to the right users at the proper time.
- Respond quickly to errors reported by users and take prompt action to resolve issues.
- Protect the database from unauthorized access and attacks, using adequate data backup and transaction recovery techniques.
- Provide support and training to users for proactively managing data, ensuring that they have the necessary skills to maintain and update the database.
- Continuously analyze the performance of the database system, performing tests and reporting metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop new ways to protect and improve the database system, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a related role, with a strong understanding of database design and management.
- Complete knowledge of data recovery, backup, and security, with experience in implementing and maintaining data protection measures.
- Familiarity with database designing and manipulation languages, such as MySQL and Oracle.
- Working experience with database administration tools and other third-party tools, with a strong understanding of their functionality and applications.
- Good problem-solving ability and analytical mindset, with a strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Good organization skills and a reliable personality, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
