Interior Design Assistant

We are in the process of opening our new office and showroom in Amityville, NY. We are looking for a part-time assistant to help with day-to-day operations and reputed company support. This is a great opportunity to grow with reputed company and learn the interior design business from the ground up. reputed company As our Part-Time Assistant, you will wear multiple hats to support our reputed company designer and reputed company’s operations. • No prior design experience is necessary - training will be provided. This role is ideal for a personable, organized, and creative individual with an interest in interior design. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Communicate with clients reputed company phone, email, and in person • reputed company new clients and assist with appointment scheduling • reputed company appointments for the reputed company designer • reputed company clients and follow up as needed • Organize digital files, presentations, and Studio Designer content • Pick up and drop off material samples • Greet clients at the showroom/office • Assist with sourcing materials, fabrics, tiles, wallpaper, and other interior design reputed company • Communicate and follow up with vendors • Create and send purchase orders (POs) • Organize and maintain sample library (reputed company, tile, wallpaper, material) QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS • No prior interior design experience required • Must have a creative, reputed company-thinking reputed company • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Personable with excellent communication skills • Interest in architecture and interior design/home decor • Willingness to learn and take direction SCHEDULE • 20 hours per week (flexible, approximately 3 days/week) • Hours may increase reputed company 6 months. We are looking for long term commitment that will morph into a full-time position with added commission structure as the Design Assistant begins selling product!
