As an equal opportunity employer, we welcome and support individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with military experience and their families. **Job Responsibilities** As a Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for: * Precise reading, interpreting, and entering medication orders into our computer system, including dosage calculations, label printing, and verifying insurance payments. * Contacting healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure the accuracy of patient medication orders. * Occasionally, you will be responsible for responding to patient calls to arrange and manage new prescription orders and reorders, which includes verifying benefits and coverage. * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient medication orders and interactions. * Collaborating with our team to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to patient medication orders. **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A valid Arizona Pharmacy Technician License. * At least six months of experience working in a pharmacy setting. * At least six months of experience working with Windows-Based applications, such as Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications. * Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail. * Ability to sit or stand for the duration of your shift (8-10 hours). * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, we prefer candidates with: * At least six months of experience as a pharmacy technician. * Experience handling and resolving customer complaints via phone. * Medical experience and knowledge of benefits, insurance, and medications. * Clinical coding, billing, and other clinical support experience. * Customer service experience in an office setting. * At least six months of professional work experience, including inbound and outbound telephone customer service. * Strong customer service skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in computer programs. * Excellent data entry skills. **Work Environment and Culture** As a remote worker, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home.
