Billing Data Entry Specialist
A company is looking for a Billing Data Entry Specialist responsible for accurately entering and verifying patient billing data.
Key Responsibilities
• Enter and verify patient demographic and billing information with high accuracy
• Ensure correct transfer of patient data to the billing system and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain compliance with billing requirements and support timely claim submissions
Required Qualifications
• 3-5 years of experience in billing data entry, preferably in healthcare or laboratory billing
• Knowledge of industry regulations, including HIPAA
• Experience with billing software; Xifin experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
