Office Location: Remote reputed company; Available for any of Partners' NC locations Closing Date: reputed company Until Filled Primary Purpose of Position: This position will reputed company Partners’ coding to accurately assign standardized codes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements facilitating reputed company billing and supporting efficient health care reimbursement processes. Role and Responsibilities: • Analyze documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with coding guidelines federal regulations and payer requirements. • Adhere to coding standards and regulations to ensure ethical and reputed company coding practices. • Review submitted claims to ensure codes reputed company with payer policies and procedures. • Participate in audits to ensure accuracy and compliance. • reputed company abreast on the changes in coding guidelines, regulations, and pay policies. • Work with staff to resolve coding reputed company issues. • Apply specialized knowledge in areas like inpatient (DRG), outpatient, surgical and specific specialties. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Working knowledge of the reputed company Waiver requirements, HCPCS, reputed company codes, ICD-10, CMS 1500/UB04 coding, compliance and software requirements used to adjudicate claims • General knowledge of office procedures and reputed company • Strong organizational skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to understand oral and written instructions • Excellent computer skills including use of reputed company Office products • Ability to handle large volume of work and to manage a desk with multiple priorities • Ability to work in reputed company atmosphere and in cooperation with others and be accountable for results • Ability to read printed words and numbers rapidly and accurately • Ability to reputed company routine and repetitive batches of data from a reputed company of reputed company documents reputed company reputed company time schedules • Ability to manage and reputed company reputed company and confidentiality of sensitive data Education and Experience Required: High School graduate or equivalent and three (3) years of experience in claims reimbursement in a reputed company setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 2 years experience in medical coding. Must live in NC or reputed company 40 miles of the NC border.
