Our team is dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for our customers, and we are looking for like-minded individuals to join our team. **Job Overview** As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark's Amazon Locker+ retail locations, you will be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner * Processing orders, receiving, picking, and stowing customer packages, and preparing them for delivery * Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols * Managing responsibilities for a Locker location, including opening and closing the site, and ensuring a smooth transition between shifts * Utilizing technology, such as smartphones and handheld devices, to sort, scan, and prepare orders * Receiving truck deliveries and ensuring that all packages are properly processed and stored **Key Responsibilities** * Receive, pick, and stow customer orders, process returns, and prepare for delivery * Assist customers with questions they may have, providing solutions and alternatives when necessary * Work through problem-solving scenarios for customers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols * Manage responsibilities for a Locker location, including opening and closing the site, and ensuring a smooth transition between shifts * Utilize technology, such as smartphones and handheld devices, to sort, scan, and prepare orders * Receive truck deliveries and ensure that all packages are properly processed and stored **Physical Demands** * Perform physical labor, including lifting up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation * Stand and walk during shifts lasting up to five hours, with or without reasonable accommodation * Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around * Go up and down stairs (where applicable) * Be available to work part-time between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., with schedules varying week to week **What it's like at blithequark's Amazon Locker+ locations** * Safety: Your safety is our top priority, and we provide a safe working environment for all our employees. * Surroundings: You'll be working behind a counter, interacting with customers, and may be located in a Whole Foods Market, a freestanding location, a partner retailer, or even in the lobby of a warehouse. * Activity: You'll be on your feet for the majority of your shift, helping customers and sorting packages. * Temperature: Our Locker locations are in comfortable, climate-controlled environments. * Noise level: Sound levels are minimal, similar to what you'd expect in a grocery store. * Dress code: Relaxed, with a few rules to follow for safety.
