The Role: Licensed Customer Care Advocate
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Customer Care Advocate to join our team. As a key member of our customer care team, you will play a vital role in helping pet parents understand the importance of protecting their pets with our insurance and non-insurance products. Your expertise and empathy will be instrumental in building strong relationships with our customers, addressing their concerns, and providing personalized support to ensure their pets receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively engage with customers via multiple communication channels, including phone, email, text, chat, social media, and other platforms to respond to inquiries and provide tailored support
- Utilize your Property & Casualty Producers license to provide expert guidance on our insurance products and help pet parents make informed decisions about their pets' health and well-being
- Build and strengthen customer relationships through effective communication, active listening, and empathy, ensuring a positive and supportive experience for our customers
- Navigate multiple platforms to provide comprehensive and integrated responses to customer inquiries, leveraging your technical skills and attention to detail to resolve issues efficiently
- Collaborate with internal teams to stay up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and best practices, ensuring that our customers receive the most accurate and relevant information
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- An active Property & Casualty Producer license, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the insurance industry
- Prior experience in a customer service role, preferably in a high-volume call center or veterinary clinic, where you have developed strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A proven ability to build and strengthen customer relationships, using effective communication, keen listening skills, and empathy to drive positive outcomes
- Strong experience navigating multiple platforms, including ticketing software such as Zendesk, Kustomer, or Gladly, to provide seamless and integrated support to customers
- Proficiency with productivity and task management tools like MS Office and G-Suite, enabling you to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A meticulous attention to detail and strong prioritization abilities, allowing you to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities with ease
- An entrepreneurial mindset, a genuine passion for pets, and excitement to work in a dynamic and innovative start-up environment
Preferred Qualifications:
While not essential, the following qualifications will be highly valued:
- Experience working in the pet insurance industry or a related field, providing a deeper understanding of the products and services we offer
- Familiarity with veterinary medicine and the healthcare industry, enabling you to provide more informed and supportive guidance to our customers
- Knowledge of sales and marketing principles, allowing you to identify opportunities to promote our products and services to pet parents
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment, demonstrating your ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers in a virtual setting
